Emmaus Christian School first opened its doors in September 1978 with two teachers and 23 students. The school was started by a group of dedicated Christian parents with a shared vision - a school that would help them live out the admonition to bring up their children in the "training and instruction of the Lord."

Emmaus Christian School is a non-denominational school currently serving preschool through eighth grade.  Emmaus Christian School is located at 460 S. Heather Street in Cornelius, Oregon.

Emmaus Christian School is registered with the Oregon Department of Education and is an active member of the Association of Christian Schools International.

Over the years, God has continued to bless Emmaus Christian School. Today, students enjoy a new building equipped with large classrooms to accommodate rising enrollment, music and art rooms, hallway lockers, modern outside play equipment, and a sports field.
