The school board at Emmaus Christian School
consists primarily of parents who have been in the
school at least one year and who are willing to meet
monthly for board meetings and to serve on a
committee as either a chair or board representative on
the committee. Board members must be committed to
the mission of the school and have a strong personal
faith in Jesus Christ. Board members also need to be regular in
their attendance at a local church.
Elections will be held before
school is out and terms will begin
in the summer of 2009. Individuals who have
a a current student enrolled may nominate themselves
or someone else for the board opening. Following a successful
interview with a current board member(s)
the individual will be placed on a ballot to be voted on
by the school families.
Parent Teacher
Fellowship (PTF) leaders are equally important and
play a vital role in many social and
special activities during the year. Similar requirements
are are needed by candidates for PTF leadership as are
needed for board members.
